I know everthing there is to know about cars because in a certified mechanic now for 2 yrs. I know every thing from the weight and balance to the aerodynamic part. I currently attending school in drafting i brushing up on my drawing skills. I feel I have unique concept car sketch that would really be a attention-grabber

Would a car company even consider my concept drawing?

    Unfortunately, they are not going to take you seriously unless you have a degree in engineering. I know you think you know everything there is to know about cars, but have you sat down and calculated the impacts of say a 50 mile per hour crash? Will the frame withstand it? Will it buckle?

    They do not want to spend a whole lot of money analyzing your design for safety. Now if you have already done so, they will check your math, but if you have not, that’s a whole lot of work (i.e. money) for them to spend on an unproven idea.

    If you want to get into designing cars, you not only need the drafting courses, you also need a degree in engineering.

    They might if you sent a copy of all the plans and blue prints of the auto in question, but before you just send them in get a paton number and register them so if they use any part of your plans you can get royalties of what they use. A good movie to watch is TUCKER a man with a dream”, that man thought of a lot of safety things that are still used in autos today and he didn’t get a pinny for any of them. Good luck

    No, they have people who are paid to design cars for them. A lot of these people are engineers that would teach you that you do not know everything about cars in about ten seconds.

    i on’t think any companies are gonna take you seriously, so build your own company!!!
